About K&Y

Welcome to K&Y Development, where excellence in construction meets personalized service. Founded on the principles of quality, transparency, and client satisfaction, we are dedicated to transforming your construction dreams into reality.

K&Y Development was established with a vision to provide clients with top-tier construction management services. Stephen Roman, a seasoned professional in the construction industry, recognized the need for a company that combines expertise with a client-centric approach. This vision has guided us in every project we undertake, ensuring we deliver outstanding results that exceed expectations.

Clarence “Geno” Hood IV completed a 4-year, 8,000-hour Union Apprenticeship with Pacific Construction Alaska in 1986, becoming the first from his class at South East Alaska Carpenters Local #1281 to finish both school and hours. Under the mentorship of Charles Handy, Geno contributed to significant projects, including the construction of Providence Hospital, the 5th Avenue Mall, and the Performing Arts Center in Alaska. He continued his career with ground-up construction of Radom facilities on Adak Island and worked on major projects such as Endicott Island for BP Oil in Prudhoe Bay and the 2nd Street University Station in Seattle. Relocating to Hawaii in the early 1990s, Geno played key roles in the construction of the Grand Wailea Hotel Resort, the Maui Ocean Center, and various other developments. After moving to Florida in 2001, Geno obtained his General Contractor license in 2004 and state certification in 2006, focusing on local projects to balance his professional and family life. With extensive experience in ground-up construction, marine restoration, and managing large-scale projects, Geno is a seasoned leader in the construction industry, proficient in navigating complex environments across multiple states.
